I have no interests outside of gaming

I don't know who to tell this to, so I thought that this would be an appropriate place to write this. I've already told my brothers and my friends. I'm in college(Freshman) and I have no other interests outside of League and the occasional good game that shows up. The only reason I'm attending college is so I can continue to game and comfortably live life. No majors that I could enjoy will bring me money. I recently switched majors from computer science to pre-business with the intent to major in Finance. I don't like computer science and I don't know how I feel about Finance, but I may as well switch into an easier major like business. This is such a terrible feeling. I'll be doing just enough work to keep my GPA at something that is "decent" like a 3.3+ unless I find some motivation. I can still graduate in 2018 which means I have three years left after this semester. In a way, it's sad to think that I can't put in some solid effort for just three years of my life to set me up for the rest of my life. I don't know guys/gals, I just don't know. How do YOU people manage schoolwork and gaming? It hasn't been a huge issue so far...I got kind of lucky and got on the Dean's list first semester with a 3.55 but I won't be able to keep that up this semester as I'm taking calculus 1. In addition to my first question, have you got any motivation for me? Thanks people.

Hello NewbieNick. In some ways I can relate to your situation, and in some ways I can't. I'm currently a high school senior, working, and have a slight love towards games. It's very hard for me to do, even at the young age of 18. I'm happy to see you're in college though, which means you must have done well in high school, ha. Anyways, I feel (In my opinion) that you should have switched to a major that can offer you a comfortable atmosphere to work in. Maybe somewhere alone the lines with working in graphics or art even (Gives you a lot of creativity in that line of work)? I know college is rough for the majority of students, but all I can tell you for now, is: It'll get better. Once you finish college, you'll know you did it. You'll know you beat the demons that held you down for the past years. It's a good feeling, but not always a given feeling. (If you know what I'm trying to say.) . After high school, I actually plan on joining the Air Force, so I won't be around to see you succeed, Nick. (Hopefully that is your name, don't want to type out your IGN.). What I can tell you is, that your family, friends, loved ones, and significant other will be there for you. They'll be there to watch you grow up, and grow old. Moving on in life, and setting off on unseen adventures. Just enjoy life for now, Nick. You're still young I presume, so make the most out of it. I'm not saying to go out and get S***-face wasted, but do something that you'll enjoy. Heck, see if your college offers any game/gaming clubs. Maybe even TCG clubs?

I hope this brought a little brightness into your life, as it did mine. See you around, Summoner.
