Am I losing MMR while I'm unranked?

I would like to know if my MMR is decreasing while I am unranked. I don't like playing ranked until I feel I'm ready to do my best and that usually involves me warming up in normals. However, lately I haven't been able to play as much as I'd like to so I am still yet to play a ranked game. Thanks!

You MMR will never decay

Only LP will decay and that is if you are Plat or above EDIT: The LP decay also only starts after 29 days of ranked inactivity
