I'm going to keep this short, as with some of the still following (or enslaved) fanbase out there, some of us would like to know. Riot is there going to be an RP sale (like the ones where you get bonus RP for buying more RP) anytime soon?
That was pretty much the only question, as pertaining to the thread. (Would appreciate a guesstimate date, but just confirmation would be enough)
They answered this a while ago. Sorry I don't have the source, but if you don't trust me, you can look for it. The answer does exist somewhere!
Anyway... they said that overall player response to bonus RP sales was weaker than response to other financial incentives they tried out (stuff like flex bundles, Your Personalized Shop, early skin sales, etc.). And because of that, they weren't planning on doing them again.
I'm with you. I miss them, because I liked double dipping (cheaper RP and normal sales too? win win). But don't hold your breath or your wallet waiting for their return.
