I was already playing League for quite a few months and decided it was about time I got some of the champions you can get for free (Alistar via YouTube subscription, Garen by following on Twitter, and Tristana by following on Facebook). I didn't write much in my support ticket other than something along the lines of "hey, nothing happened. What should I do?" The response I got absolutely made my day.
Now that's what I call player support.
I remember contacting Support about RP compensation for a champ (Renekton I think) I bought just before their sale was announced. The Rioteer that responded was named "Prophet of the Void" and role-played 
as he guarenteed that the difference would be compenated.
God, I love how much fun Player Support has with their work.

Every time I've had to contact Player Support since the second time I started playing LoL(back a few years now), I've gotten good responses - not always quite that indepth, but in that same vein.

Hell yeah. Riot gets a lot of crap, but their CS has always been top-notch. I was in contact with someone for a while about a major issue that began occurring in the Zyra patch for me. Well... uh... it still hasn't been solved and forum discussion about it seems to pop up every now and then with no resolution. Regardless, the representative I corresponded with was very thorough and professional and seemed to be doing all he could. I have to give them a break and assume it's a pretty complicated issue. I found a surefire work-around, anyway. :)
There's about 100 of those guys working at Blizzard, glad Riot finally got 1.
Nice, this gives me hope. I spent time and drew a Shaco charcoal drawing for 15RP for an Ascension boost, I can't complain too much because a Rioter from support did give me the RP, but didn't make a single comment on my picture. I'm glad I got RP for drawing a picture, but the extra touch of the Rioter actually making a comment about the picture really bummed me out a bit.

My own adventures with player support unlocking that skin for me featured a number of puns pertaining to getting the cow out of the barn and grabbing the bull by the horns and so forth. I approve.

I've sent in many tickets over the years and riot has always treated me very nicely Back when I was a toxic little shitter in game I remember getting one of my perm banned accounts unlocked with this very account I'm typing to you on now. Made it to level 20 without a single report even had an honor badge for friendly. =]
The trick to being positive is to take your negative and use it on a single player game Then go ahead and play a multiplayer game. or just play a multiplayer game with zero way to communicate then you can rage at yourself all day and no one can hear it. When I was younger used to pour many hours into SC:broodwar the custom maps and halo 1/2(for the first xbox ofc)... Sometimes I'd get tilted so what did i do? Went and player ff12/Morrowind/Mario kart 64/Mario for the n64 or super marios for the super nintendo even if I had beaten them. It was calming. I wish I had a better computer, I'd try to the zodiac edition to ff12 with the classes etc.
