Does Match making favourite you one day and then not the next.

It seems that I go on huge win streaks where my whole match history is wins and then for a few games I go on a huge loss streak :/. Its extremely frustrating. Does the match making system think im good after I go on a win streak and then stick me with potato team mates and then when it thinks im terribad does it stick me wiht good ones.
