It would be awesome if match histories were allowed to be exported* into Microsoft excel or Google docs. I would just love to analyze the data!

and in an actual database format (like csv) for actual statistical analysis programs like Minitab, SAP, or even SQL databases, etc... not excel lol (though excel can import from those files, other programs cannot reliably import from Excel files without corruption). BackBlaze did something like this recently ( https://www.backblaze.com/hard-drive-test-data.html ). mmmmmm.... data.

I don't know if I agree, though... As much as I would love to spend all day running commands on the raw data... I'd spend all day running commands :o Talk about a time vampire.

In all actuality, though, it won't happen. Especially given the age group of typical players. How many have had a meaningful statistical analysis course? College graduates of course, but in the league community? Out of them, how many actualIy understood it all? and how many of them still remember it? I would imagine just a couple percent of LOL players at most. Even then, how many of them would actually want to take the time to analyze it? Even fewer. :/

Sure, there are some thesis papers in there, but that's a lot of work on Riot's part to put that all out there and maintain it for such a small number of people.

I'd love to be proven wrong, though. :)
