If you want dominion to stay boycott it and don't play league for a month. That's the problem with society, "United we stand, Divided we fall" if you want something changed or not to change in a game you are passionate about simply get a majority of people on board and don't play league for a month.

A Company this size only understands $$$ and not Player opinions. Now granted there will always be douche bags who won't get on board for a greater cause because they are selfish pricks but if you can get anywhere near 30% to 40% of the community to boycott a change Riot has to comply other wise their company will suffer for it.

So if this is something you really don't want to see Go, start a really on forums and get people to stop playing league for a month so Riot knows that the player base is more then just a cash machine, let them know you are passionate about this game, have invested a ton of time and/or money and you want y our voices heard.

If not then Good bye Dominion and your so called backbone for standing up for something you believe in.

Trust me, a Decrease that big for a month straight will get Riot's attention.

Oh right. So if we don't like Dominion and never played it, we are selfish pricks for not getting on board with it. I forgot that I have to sacrifice my enjoyment and satisfaction for something I don't believe in.

Riot is closing dominion because of statistics. It's ridden with bots and only a tiny sliver of people play it. Just because a tiny percentage want it doesn't mean it should stay. I'd warrant more people want perma-urf or other game modes than Dominion. You and the dominion players can abandon the game for a month sure, but most of the playerbase, and by most I mean almost all, who don't play dominion will not ruin our enjoyment for something we do not enjoy. My backbone is affirming that Dominion isn't enough to force me from my joy.

Obviously it wasn't played enough to even cover the hardware cost to have dominion servers. Boycott won't do anything becuase the majority of the community didn't play it

I agree with riot decision to remove dominion so I won't be joining your boycott. many others who do not care about dominion or trust in riot's decision to remove it will do the same.

Anyways I made my valid point, people can take it however they like but for people who want to keep dominion the ball is in your court to stand up and rally or boycott the decision, don't let the trolls on my thread make decisions for you do what you want you have the power not them.

i doubt it will matter, but I am quitting the game. I uninstalled shortly after reading the announcement. I'm only sticking around here for a bit to see if anything happens soon (it won't). I'm moving to Smite as my off-game (mostly play FFXIV).

Unfortunately, Riot stated that only 0.5% of its player base played Dominion regularly. That means that 99.5% did not. Convincing that 99.5% to stop playing the part of League they've been playing all this time to force Riot's hand when it comes to Dominion is going to be a really, really hard sell. I think the better middle ground is allowing the map to remain on Customs, that way, the majority of the Domion people will be happy.

I think the main problem is that the vast majority of players don't care that much for dominion. I could be wrong, but the people complaining about it are the ones that care. It's quite an insignificant amount when compared with the numbers that don't care whether or not dominion goes. And that's where your few douche bags that won't get on board for a greater cause turn out to be the majority of league players.

Edit: ^^
