why the vote system doesnt work riot

Having upvotes and downvotes seems like a good idea people like it? up vote it! people dislike it? down vote! easy to tell what is what right? Thats where the problem starts. Especially with arguments it all depends on how many people of what nature are in the said group. Lets take these boards as an example. If you have 1,000 silver kids that think one thing is right and you have 100 diamond players that KNOW what the right thing is, no matter if wrong or right they will get down voted because they have the majority that will side with them because they are the same group and will not allow themselfs to look foolish its human nature. Thats why votes are incompetent because you can easily have mass genres be able to control the outcome no matter how stupid.

Its like if you had a forum for music but you had more rap listeners than metal heads so the rap listeners will always down vote anything against rap and upvote anything to do with it that is good even if they have no clue about the other genre. Thats what happens when you mix a bunch of different elo's to one forum and allow them to have a voting system. It just doesn't make sense and its extremely illogical. Also i appreciate the no reason down votes without the comments/facts backing it up you are only furthering my point (:
