So I had this duo bot, Jinx + Lux who kept flaming my friend who was playing Jax for the WHOLE match. Not kidding, since our first top tower went down and he didn't ping one SS they kept saying things such as

"pro jax" "report jax" "noob jax" "are you bronze v?" (By the way Jinx was Bronze I, such high elo. I'm not really into mocking others for they rank, I'm Gold V and I know it's not high elo, but it's ridicolous that somebody is calling unskilled another player when the flamer itself it's in the same league as the other player )

And so on. I asked politely if they could just cut it out, but I didn't mute them, maybe they were gonna say something in chat that could be useful. They just continued, I couldn't take it anymore and I started to "flame" (?) to them. I said things like they are kids because they are getting angry over a game and they should get over it, they shouldn't call others bad because they are in the lowest divison possible and so on. So, Lyte, did I do something wrong? Is this considered flame? I really wanna know. I couldn't take it anymore so I just said what I was thinking about them. By the way, a shotout to others : if you get angry for something you love/like, it's ok. It's not ok to blame others for the whole match, they are not doing it on purpose, they want to win and have fun just as you.

And anyway, it's just a game :)

IMO, you should have just muted and ignored them. Yelling back at them really doesn't do anything useful for your team:

  • It makes the game less fun for the 5th person on your team.
  • You spend time typing instead of playing
  • Everybody on your team spends time thinking about the chat instead of focusing on the game.

The question I'd really like to know the answer to, though, is: Did yelling at them really make you feel any better?
