I honestly don't mind this patch, with a mini baron to watch it adds much more chaos to the game. I was on the edge of my seat the entire battle. While the masteries do seem a bit....meh, I don't hate them. I think that the game is really good right note. Except Kog'Maw cause FUCK THAT SPEED
I'm pretty biased towards adc. I absolutely hate them, and they all got buffed. At the same time, my favorite class, mages, got universally nerfed. I'm not a happy camper.
i want you to go and play mage, count how many times you need to go back to base because your out of mana, hope you enjoy the increase in ap items cause pretty much (well its not so bad because gold per second was increased) but yeah, can't wait till this nightmare is over and riot gets their shit straight with mages.
Riot is never happy with just buffing one aspect of the game; they always have to nerf another. Increased cost on AP items and Tank items alongside reduced costs on AD items and Marksmen buffs, and they wonder why the house of cards is collapsing.
The ADC meta has arrived.
And too put this into perspective, I'm an ADC main and I hate just about every single thing this patch brought. I'm convinced this clusterfuck of horrible ideas was developed as a sick joke by the design and balance teams to see what would happen if they created a meta so terrible that no one would have fun with it. The problem was that somehow this got shipped to the live servers and now we're screwed.
After 5 games, I think I've concluded that I need a long break away from League. Nothing about this is fun, and probably won't be for weeks, maybe even months before they stop their office drug sessions and realize just how bad they fucked everything up.
Seriously why are any of you so upset about it? Every buff they give makes a different meta and although it's HUGELY in favor of adc's, this is preseason. Once the see just how negative they have made the game become, they will balance it just be patient.
