I Don't Get It

So whenever I get cussed at, harassed, and blamed for having a bad game or doing bad and I tell people to report the person or people involved in the bming and harassing I get harassed by everyone in the game and called a bitch and etc. but when I'm the one asking to be reported everyone immediately hops on the train and goes "will do, sure" etc. I've been banned before and have been improving my attitude in games with toxic players because I'm one to lash back instead of just taking it or letting it go. But I feel my luck is just unfair because everytime I'm the culprit everyone agrees and hates me but when I'm the one trying to bring another toxic player to justice everyone ignores me and I get turned on and once again become the culprit. I just don't understand, I'm so tired of this community sometimes. People ALWAYS have to blame someone else and can't admit their own mistakes and bm for no reason as if they're all perfect and have never had bad games or have never been outplayed. Would love to hear some similar stories or feedback on this lasting issue for me.

If you think someone should be reported, then just report them yourself. DO NOT ask for others to report said player, and DO NOT even say that you're reporting that player, just do so silently. This is for a few reasons:

1.) Asking for reports/threatening to report another player is viewed as a form of harassment (although somewhat minor, at least IMO), and therefore is a viewed as report worthy.

2.) Asking for reports/saying out loud that you are going to report a certain player will just lead to that player reporting you back out of spite, and if you have done anything negative worthy of a punishment, then you're just putting yourself one step closer to the review process and possibly a punishment.

3.) Lastly, the system doesn't look at the total number of reports a player has received, but instead looks at the number of games a player has been reported in vs. the total number of games played. This means that being reported by 1 player in a single match is pretty much the same as being reported by 9 players in a single match. This is done so that premade parties don't have too much power over solo players. Knowing this, asking for others to report a certain player is essentially useless because any reports after the first initial one of the game pretty much won't do anything extra.

So, in short, if you want someone to be reported, just do so yourself and do so without drawing any attention that you are reporting them.

Idk, that's really all I can say about this.
