Banned for chargeback I didn't commit?

My friend had gotten banned for chargeback, and he stated it was 5 dollars. So I thought I would be nice and gift him a prepaid card to use to refund his account. I now got an email that states I owe 780 USD and my account is suspended until I pay it. So now my friends chargeback was placed onto me and I can't play anymore. Great.
