I know this may sound stupid but... can we gift our own RP? In the gifting center, if you buy RP for a friend, it says you actually have to buy RP for a friend. So I thought, "Hey, maybe we can gift out own RP." An example I have thought of is like it's a slot, the minimum of it is 0 RP and the maximum is the amount of RP you have.

It would be great if a Rioter takes this idea or explains why you actually have to buy RP for a friend if you have RP.

The current problem with this is that people would just level up smurfs to 3 and send over their free 400 RP, and players at risk of being banned could just migrate all their RP to a "safe" account so as to avoid losing it. They are replacing the free RP with a Hextech chest or something when they introduce crafting, but the other issue remains.
