Looking for new game, this or that?

So idk if this is the right forum for an off topic thread, but I don't see anything else that would fit, sorry in advance if this is still supposed to be entirely league focused, just don't read any further if you're not interested and feel free to let me know if this is the incorrect place.

Anyway! I'm looking to get a new game and I'm torn between two very different ones for very different reasons. The first is 'Until Dawn' for the PS4, I've heard some good things about it and I love two of the main concepts of it, it's heavily story driven and choice making is very important. However, I HATE horror movies and can't seem to ever stick to horror games either, the closest I could do was The Last of Us, which wasn't horror at all and was simply just rip-off zombies. I ADORED that game though, even though I was sweating bullets at certain times just cause I don't do well with horror or suspense, even in games lol So my question is for those of you who played Until Dawn already, is it like... reeeaaaally creepy or anything? Or is it just a bunch of jumpscares? And ofc, did or do you enjoy it?

Second, I was thinking of getting Sims 4 for my Mac since I just found out that earlier this year they finally released a Mac version. The thing is, I've never really played a Sims game, and don't really know what it entails or why so many people enjoy it, I simply really enjoy creating characters and dictating story or plotlines, whether in a game or writing my own stories. So this time, my question is why do so many people like it? What is it even about? Is there a point to playing it at all, or is it just kinda like roller coaster tycoon, where you build shit and watch it all work then quit when you're bored?

And no I won't just get them both, I NEVER finish both games if I buy two at once, I just get too eager to play the other while still playing the first then end up missing the first while playing the second, and this repeats until I no longer feel hooked to either of them :P

So yeah, any help and/or opinions on these two very different games would be very appreciated :)
