Whats the purpose of fourms anymore..

[Mini Rant]

I'm not a really old person in this game I've only been playing for a year. But it kinda bothers me when i look up problems like "Why does my league client stay on locked screen" even if i press the button or y or left click, and then ill find a forum thread from like 2012 that was never even addressed with a fix... I thought the purpose of forums was to fix our problems. I mean am i doing something wrong? I fill out support tickets and ive reported bugs. If im going to get a leaver buster because i have to d.c even though its not my fault to fix a lock screen then at least do something about it.
