Mastery 8,9 & 10

Mastery 1-5 was about how well you knew a champion. Mastery 6-7 was about how good you were with a champion. Mastery 8-10 should be about how consistent you are with a champion. You should need 4 Mastery 8 tokens, 5 Mastery 9 tokens and 6 Mastery 10 tokens. You would get Mastery 8 tokens for grading S- or better in 3 consecutive matches. However the matches would overlap. If you were on a 5 game S- or better streak you would get a Mastery 8 token on the 3, 4 and 5th matches. Leaving you only needing one more 3 game win streak or to extend the winning streak to six games with S- or better for your last mastery 8 token. This would prove that not only are you good with a champion but you are also consistently good with them. The same would be for mastery 9 but you would need 5 game S or better streaks overlapping up to 9 game S Streak. Also for Mastery 10 it would still have to be an S streak not S- streak like mastery 8 but it would have to be a 10 game S or better streak to get a token, overlapping up to a 15 game S Streak. If the streak ends before 15 games then they would have to start the streak all over again to earn more mastery 10 tokens. Upvote this if this is what you want for Mastery 8,9 & 10.

Mastery 8-10 will need you to have all the skins of said champions (legacy included) and a weekly subscription of 20 RP.

Yea I agree the number of consecutive games are a bit much they could make it 2 consecutive S games for mastery 8. However you want it to be more difficult to get the higher masteries and want to distinguish between the good players and the really good players. Since there is no greater mastery then consistency. They could make it 4 Mastery 8 tokens, 1 token per 2 consecutive S games 5 Mastery 9 tokens, 1 token per 3 consecutive S games 6 Mastery 10 tokens, 1 token per 5 consecutive S games. Believe me this is possible because I'm on a 9 S game streak with Morgana Support and a 5 S game streak with Nami Support. However My Kayle support I have only gotten back to back S games so I would only be a Mastery 8 with her and would be working on a Mastery 10 with Nami support and Morgana Support. Where as all my other supports I only get an occasional S and would only have mastery 7 with them.

Its a great idea i want to, dont listen to cry babies who cannot play enough matches to farm the materials! Just like old times u gotta spend hours and hours to reach something. If somebody doesnt want it he can cary on mastery lvl 5 and blame riot! Give us challenge!

I would feel inclined to agree with you if it weren't for the fact that there are too many variables. Some games, a player may play very well, but his score and etc. is not left looking "pretty" because of the nature of that game. You may win, but it wasn't easy, and you possibly died/sacrificed farm/ etc. in order to make that victory happen. You can consistently play well and not consistently get great grades. Also this would have people trying really hard to protect their scores to have those consistent grades. I feel like the mastery system is fine where it's at.

Ive been playing another 200 games since posting this and believe that the final tweaking to this idea would be 2 Consecutive S games for a mastery 8 token - 2 tokens to upgrade 3 Consecutive S games for a mastery 9 token - 2 tokens to upgrade 5 Consecutive S games for a mastery 10 token - 2 tokens to upgrade

Its basically the same as i posted before but it would only require getting that S streak twice to upgrade your mastery even getting a streak 2 times proves that your good enough for that mastery. If it took more then 2 tokens the process would be redundant because if they can get that streak 2 times that would be sufficient enough to prove that they have mastered that level. More than that would take months and would be long and tedious and would prove anything that would already be proven by completing that long of a streak 2 times. In short getting 5 game streak is difficult enough already and to do it twice shows that you are consistent and would prove your mastery.

if it went for an "S rank" in general, then yes, ill be up for it. lol. Of course the "streak" portion of it might have to be messed with number wise.

No overlapping streaks. 4 Mastery 8 tokens, 1 token per 2 consecutive S games 5 Mastery 9 tokens, 1 token per 2 consecutive S games

I would keep it at 2 for a consecutive. the reason why is because unless you're in a premade, it may be more difficult than it really should be. getting two S rank games in a row is sometimes hard enough with random people who may or may not be playing seriously.

and mastery 10 (and/or11) should go for a different style of requirement just to fit the whole set of 2

Well after 1000s of games of play testing the final drafting of mastery 8,9 and 10 should be 2 consecutive games for a mastery 8 token, 3 tokens to upgrade 3 consecutive games for a mastery 9 token, 2 tokens to upgrade 5 consecutive games for a mastery 10 token, 1 token to upgrade. The reason for this is because after 1000 games with my favorite champion Ive had back to back S on my score 100 times, 3 consecutive S 5 times, and 6 consecutive S 1 time. Getting 5 S in a row is possible Ive done it but not likely because even after a 1000 games Ive only had a 6 game S streak one time and a 3 game S streak 5 times. Back to back S are common and its easy to get 3 of them if your good with a champ. So after all the playtesting has been done this would be bye far the most suitable mastery 8,9 and 10 system.
