I need some clarification from a Red or just anyone who knows their stuff.

I've been modding skyrim and I stumbled upon this program called Hialgo Chill. What it does is sorta hard to explain coming from the tech illiterate but basically it improves fps dramatically. I've tested it on skyrim, borderlands and briefly on league. Any game that runs on DirectX9 can be improved by this program.

But the point is, the creators of this program advised caution when playing online mmo games since I could get banned. I did some research about third party programs and league of legends and found that in the ToS it says some stuff about cheating, changing game files, and in reference to the Curse Voice incident can not give an advantage to a player over others.

I was wondering since this program boosts fps through wizardry, is it alright to use? I may be able to play skyrim and borderlands 2, but only on low (medium with this new program) graphics. I get a constant 15-20 fps on league and with this program i'm up at 40. the allure of that boost is hard to ignore but i want to take precautions and safeguard my account.

So, yeah.

PS this is the mod in question:

and this is the site you download it off:

For as far as I know, this is perfectly fine. I never seen bans fall under improving FPS with third party programs, its basicly the same case where Razer Game Booster and LoL Replay fall under. So use at your own risk. But I advice you to don't take my word on it.

as long as it does not provide you with knowledge that otherwise you would not normally have, or modify s your movements, then its fine. i use razor game booster instead.

Otherwise you could simply get hands on the program setting and deactivate many programs that run in background and slow your pc. There does not exist a program like that able to boost fps, the only thing it can do is deactivate few stuff on your pc so it "fatigues" less.

However, if you aren' t into handling your own pc i guess it' s fine to use.
