Hi, I'm Blake Anderson aka Ace Clique. I'm currently in Silver 1 and have the goal to be the best in the world. I'm 16 and need help. My parents will not support my dreams to become a professional gamer. This has came to the point where my parents take away my computer for no reason other than them not wanting to support me. I'm aware there's much more than playing the game to make money from LoL, but I decided to come to the league community to see what help I can get. I know I legally can't leave until I'm 18 so over the next two years, I'm planning on continuing to make money and maybe split an apartment with someone in the league community. I will only continue with this plan if I can successfully reach diamond.

I'd advise listening to your parents for the moment. You're 16, which from little I know, means you haven't even graduated high school yet. You should be focusing on that first and foremost, because professional gamer or not, you need a basic education to be successful. Keep in mind your parents are just concerned for your well being and your future. I'm not saying to give up and I'm not saying to stop playing, but gather some perspective first before you jeopardize your relationship with your family for something that might not be what you end up doing with your life.

Please read my entire opinion before you judge what i am telling you.

You are making some very bad decisions. Your desire to become a professional gamer is very commendable, and I wish you the best of luck in those pursuits. But you are being very stupid about your decisions on the way. Stay with your parents. Get at least a high school degree. Go to college. ZionSpartan is one of the best examples you could follow. And he wasn't able to do what he did because his parents or the league community supported him. Even for professional league players, it is still a just a job. It cannot rule your life, or else you will grow to hate it. You can keep jobs through high school and college, and even get scholarships for playing league at select schools. I want you to pursue a professional leaguer. I really do. I think its great that this is something that you want to pursue. But don't be stupid about it. Don't make bad decisions. Like letting it split you from your parents, or drive you into debt, or find a bad roommate, or any of the other numerous very likely disasters that will happen. You can do this in a much better way.

While I commend your efforts for staying with what you want to do that's rough friend, I hope you'll be successful in whatever you have chosen to do, your parents can't decide that, only you can.
