Placement Rage Thread.

Normally I don't make rage threads as I am almost always salt free, but I am sincerely confused at the placement system and how it works. My assumption is it takes your new mmr based on the yearly ranked reset. Then ideally should make you play against and with similar mmr people. If you beat them your mmr goes up. If you lose it goes down. Then where ever you end up it places you.

So I play my first ranked. End up playing with silver 3-1 people(last season I was placed silver 2 so this makes sense) I win so my mmr should go up. Second game I play with silver 4-1 I win so my mmr should go up. Third game my team is silver 3- gold 5 there team is silver 3 to gold 3. We lose mmr should go down Fourth and Fifth game i play with high silver and low golds. I win both mmr should go up sixth game the opposing team has a gold 2 (they have an afk that was unfortunate) I win mmr should go up then 7th game through 10th game no one is ranked anymore there was some season 4 plats and golds and silver mixed in. I win one lose 3. one game I played bad the other 3 had vast skill differences in one of the lanes where a solo laner on my team was down 6 kills before 15 min.

My question would be why this system after 6 games apparently decides to reset my mmr and start placing me with placement people even though the first 6 games it was mostly people already placed? It just turned my game very volatile. Why wouldn't they start with the games where everyone is in placements to judge mmr then place in normal ranked games with placed people?

I won't question also why it is ok to have gold 2 and silver 2s in the same game.
