Dear Riot,

I've been playing your game for a little over a year now, I like the game, and the concept of the game, I just absolutely hate the ranking system. I wish their was an individual ranking system instead of being placed with 2 decent players and 2 other players who are on tilt. Promoting a player for CS'ing well or getting a lot of assists seems fair, because that's how the game was originally intended to be played as, correct? I realize a lot of things are put into the game to try and make it competitive, but the ranking system doesn't offer anyone any sort of option to actually do good in the game, you can have over 4000 games, and still be in a lower division. I don't like the idea of 'luck' in Solo Que, If I'm a good player, per se, I want to be rewarded for being a good player, not demoted because somebody afk'd in the base. I don't know, I just wish all of you at Riot would see all the flaws in the ranking system. Maybe even look at other games ranking systems and get some kind of ideas.

Another issue that hasn't been addressed, Queue Trolls, those people that will tell you to pick a champion for them that they don't own and force you to dodge and lose LP. Those people that say "mid or feed" or "Jg or feed" and if you don't give them their respective roll, they quite literally, feed. I know that you guys are trying to change the ranking system to Team Builder, which i think is brilliant. League doesn't have the best community, I don't think I've ever played a game with such a toxic community, besides Call of Duty of course. Yes I know, I'm a crying nerd. Anyways, rant over.

I absolutely agree with you on this. I haven't played for more then a year, but i'm a very competitive gamer across all genres, and this ranking system and community is the worst i've ever encountered. I think the ranking system is just so unbelievably dumb for just the reasons you said. The community is so horrible you are guaranteed to have a troll every other game if not every game. Not only trolls but rage-quitters, afkers, feeders etc. The only thing I think they can really do is make it so the better personal grade you get the less LP you lose in the event of a loss. So if you get S+ you only lose like 3-5 lp compared to 23 and it scales down so on and so forth, that way more of the people who screwed the game get penalized the most, while the people who were actually trying don't get punished to hard..

Rioters couldnt care less about your issues. They have their pro's. They have their tournaments and world championships. The little people dont matter to them.

i looked up the down side of elo ( performance ) ranked system if it focuses on csing or assist people would keep people doing that like adc csing all games and not joining team fight etc. they will change ranked lader in the preseason. people can still troll in the ranked tb.
