Can people understand it's "losing" not "loosing"

I know this is a small detail but I see it everywhere.

Losing is a term meaning being deprived or ceasing to have (something) Loosing relates to the term "loose" which means not tightly held, or detachable.

The majority of people haven't read a book in the last 10 years so it's understandable that so many are borderline illiterate.

Or when people say "oh great, now that yi is fedded."

Like, wtf, did he become a federal officer or something? It's "fed" you stupid idiots. [zombie-brand-facepalm]
