It is about time US East gets its own server.

I have been playing this game for close to four years now. Back when I started my ping was 70. Over the years as League has increased exponentially in popularity, also increasing the ping of us East coasters. My ping is now just over 100, and this is significantly affecting our ability to play the game competitively against West coasters. I have moved over to the LAN server because I get 48 ping there, it is glorious. I can actually play the game again. I never realized how bottle-necked my connection to US was until I stopped using it. My close friends have moved over as well, and we will enjoy the company of our Latino brothers until Riot realizes that our nation covers four time zones.

I agree completely. Riot should do something to help out their fellow supporters on the East coast. It would give us East coasters a more even playing field against West coasters.

i also agree its very frustrating to be playing against someone with 40-60 ping in the west coast, when your sitting in east coast with 130-150 ping. so riot we come to you in hopes, that you will finally listen to the east coast players.

How bout a central sever and that will make everyone quit complaining?

I just purchased some ethernet cable to run to my modem upstairs in hopes of it lowering my ping. I play on a desktop using wireless sometimes I get 90 ms other times I get 130. So I'm hoping this helps.

It makes me so happy to come back to league after quitting and see that Riot actually addressed this issue.
