Stop complaining about the Sandbox

Riot has stated that they do not intend to create the Sandbox mode. Okay cool, they heard our requests for years, they finally addressed us, the community, with their answer. And do you know what happened? Everyone started acting like spoiled brats.

Do you guys understand why Riot sometimes doesn't answer us? Why they just leave us alone and do their own thing? Because these things happen. You cry if they don't do what you want and don't tell you why, you cry when they tell you why, no one in this community is happy with anything.

Now to address the points of the Boards, League is its own thing What do I mean by this? Well this argument has been popping up a lot:

"In basketball, to get better at free throws, you shoot free throws."

Yes, that's how you improve. Cool. So how does that tie into League? They are two separate games of two different requirements for performance. If they added a Sandbox mode, people would not get better. I get better at league by playing normal games, playing ranked games, and playing 1v1 games with a friend of equal or better skill than me over and over again. The stance of "I want to test a build out at full build at level 18" is not even close to a solid argument to have a Sandbox mode. If you get so used to starting full build and level 18, you would lose the practice of building up to that point. You would not perform the same way you were expecting to because you were so used to being full power.

I'm going to address several points.

"I want to be able to practice flashing over walls without having to restart my game." Wanna know how to do this? Play a custom game with friends, and play like you would a normal. Or play a normal. Practice flashing over walls with the actual cooldown in place. Practice doesn't make perfect/ Practice makes permanent. And in a case like this, getting used to a low cooldown flash would get people used to a low cooldown, hindering their play. Psychology plays a HUGE part in every aspect of this game, because it is a mental sport.

"I want to be able to practice a combo with my teammate." Ever thought about those 1, 2, 3 minutes where your combo was on cooldown? Though practicing a combo to make it work every time is great, and it feels good to pull off in a pvp, the time in between is also time that you need to practice. When that time is irrelevant, you get used to the time not being there. Custom games do a great service in this department, especially if you have 3 friends with you. "Bottom Lane Simulator" is a great way to learn how to lane and combo in the bot lane. Any lane simulator with a friend on the opposite end is a great way to practice the lanning phase.

Riot is correct when they say ". . . playing games of League of Legends should be the unequivocal best way for a player to improve." Is ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. Because this is a game where every part matters at all times, from the cooldowns of abilities to the lanning phase trades, playing a game of League is the BEST way to get better. They know this because, guess what, they have all of the data.
