Pause Button for Patch updates

I really think that the League Patch updates should have a pause button. For instance Steam has a pause button for downloads and updates so why shouldn't league have one? Also sometimes I have to do something else when Leauge is updating and I have to close it and start over or the file get corrupted Could a Riot Employee explain to me why they haven't implemented one in yet or if they have plans for one? -D0Quanta

they lazy. almost every game has a pause button on downloads. A game as popular as LoL doesn't even have a pause button while a brand new game that has little funding does.
