What Are the Rules For 3v3 Normal Blind Pick?

I play League of Legends pretty frequently. I specifically play Twisted Treeline (the 3v3 map). On that map, there are two metas (support and jungle meta). Jungle meta is very common and people know how to play around that strategy. I play support meta almost exclusively, but unfortunately, many people don't know of the strategy.

Also, again there are two metas in Twisted Treeline. Jungle meta is where you have a solo top laner, a solo bot laner, and a jungler. Support meta is where you have a solo bot laner, a support, and a hypercarry (this role gets funneled top and jungle experience and farm).

What I would like you to help me with is how to solve the problem of uncooperative teammates. Are there any rules to how normal blind pick works? The way I look at it is that if I am the first to call support on Twisted Treeline, than I am calling for support meta. If I call it first, then I should have that position correct? The players I play with have a completely different opinion than mine. They don't believe that is how blind pick works because I am forcing a meta on them, but the same argument can be made for jungle meta. If someone calls top lane than I am forced to play jungle meta. Where is the middle ground?

I just want to have a positive experience with playing 3v3 but for months now I have been mocked and disrespected for wanting to play support on Twisted Treeline. I find it difficult to enjoy and practice the que for ranked now. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

For one thing, your success here will depend on your MMR. I have no idea what your normal TT MMR is, but support meta is virtually nonexistent in low-MMR. There's been multiple occasions where someone tried to convince me that "support meta is bad because you miss out on gold and xp in the jungle." You might have more luck getting a support comp going in high-MMR where people actually know what support meta is.

Alternately, you could try talking to your team in champ select. Call order doesn't work too well though, since, possibly due to SR's influence, jungle meta is generally seen as more intuitive. Discussing with your team might convince them to give support meta a try, though you'd still run a risk of your hypercarry not knowing what to do.

Barring that, find a buddy or two, and queue as a premade. Ranked TT is Flex, so you can even do ranked with those same buddies once you're more comfortable.
