So I was just in a game where we had a certain MF flame a certain Sivir for her pinging her ms at 1870. Her reasons for flaming were: (1) Ping is always the same throughout every single game you play (2)Playing on Wifi is selfish and most people do not play on wifi (3) Its unfair to your team to play on wifi and it makes you a bad team mate

Just for some more information... Sivir was my duo, we were on the same wifi, seeing as we live together. I had 65ms while she was taking the brunt of the lag. When I explained why our ms was high and that we could not plug in via Ethernet she just said that we should not play and that it was toxic. THIS WAS NOT a ranked game. I feel that it is very important to mention this, i can understand being upset over losing a ranked game to this, but this was an ARAM game.

So... Back to the topic at hand. I want to know, do you guys think that playing on Wifi is toxic? Do you think that we should not play League at all because we cannot plug into an Ethernet cable? And do you ever have lag spikes or is your ping ALWAYS, and yes i mean 100% of the time, the exact same.

Playing on wifi is not toxic lmao. Riot would not make something like that a reportable offense. Flaming is toxic. But it is always good manners to have decent ping. Like if it were the other way around and they were lagging, you'd probably be like "damn well 4 v 5 I guess" and probably lose and would not like that at all so yeah.. but if u can't play without lag then fk all the haters and just play normals with lag.

I think you are just bound to run into some toxic people in any video game. I wouldn't worry about it just make sure your duo isn't spamming her MS as I could see THAT getting annoying. It really wouldn't be fair to not be able to relax and play a game you enjoy all because you are on the WiFi.

I am plugged into an ethernet cable and just the other night, during an ARAM game, I started to lag out of nowhere and "reconnected" twice before it went back to normal. If it really bothers you, I guess you can always check with your internet provider and see if there is an option to upgrade to a faster wifi but as of right now I say keep playing and just mute and report anyone who is giving you lots of grief over something like that.
