My greatest tip for you: it is to know that the grass is never greener in higher ranks. You still get afks, people who do not communicate, and others who perform with a lower purpose.

I have been in diamond promos once, seven platinum 1 promos, and a couple platinum 2 promos. It is really a roller-coaster ride in ranked. One thing I think is important to know is that you're not the driver, just along for the ride.

Now, I am not going to say you can't make a difference, but instead, do not be frustrated as I have been when you can not.

Coming to terms with the fact that you have VERY little control over whether your team wins or loses is probably the first thing ranked players should learn.

False. I was silver last season, now i'm bronze. There are many more feeders and trolls there.

The bit about the rollercoaster was cool though. I agree with it happening once you get to an appropriate skill level. Sometimes you can't climb anymore.
