I know that Dominion is popular and ARAM is fun party game with friends. But is there any news of starting a** ranked version **for either in maybe the possible 2015 season?

Unknown Foe1 votesWell, without a doubt there will be trolls, in any game mode... Shoot I used to farm bots, and even there, their were "trolls". There's not really anyone besides the tribunal that can stop trolls.. but I seem to play aram more than ranked rift now. I feel as if aram somewhat like urf reveals your skills to use a specific champion or team fight. Given that in aram, you dont exactly get to pick your champion, thats why its a bit more exciting or skilled if you ask me... however, I would make ranked aram require a considerably large amount of champions, so you don't get the players that will make a "mage only" account and play ranked with it.
Crazycatperson2 votesMy issue would be the "ARAM only" accounts that are already prevalent in normals. They ruin the game for people that only want to play and it would only be worse in terms of a ranked ladder.

Unknown Foe1 votesOh I must have suggested my solution in a different comment, but normal ranked ques require a certain amount of champions, I think to make it fair you'd either have to own a certain amount of champions from each category, or a significant amount total in order to play.
watbesh2 votesI've read something like " Dominion does not have the player base to support a ranked queue right now", but having Ranked Dominion sounds awesome (if it were not for the queue-population problem).
ARAM is, if played "All-Random" as its name says, I think it's currently too much of luck-based to fit Ranked games. I mean, the luck about who you pick and how good you are as him/her, not about what your teammates are.
Unknown Foe1 votesThat seems like it would be about right... I suppose the player base for every mode is way smaller, I mean I try to play aram on pbe, and on average it takes me about 15 minutes to que up and find a game. Where as on NA it takes less than a minute.
Wullf2 votesI do not think that we will ever see any other ranked then Summoners Rift. (At least I hope so).
You see, every new champion and every patch and balances are focused on Summoners Rift. Why? Because Summoner Rift is League of Legends. It is the map that is mean to be played competitively. It offers a space for different kind of tactics, that is a balanced map.
Of course there is Ranked for TT, because it also offers space for plays but in comparison to SR it is still weak.
Dominion on the other hand is simple map that is not much balanced and champs are not designed to work there as good as on SR and TT.
and ARAM... well it is not even nearly possible for it to have ranked. Because you have to always have chance to win. And randomly assigned champions do not support that idea.
Unknown Foe1 votesI agree, with pretty much all of this, but I think its more based on how many people play what. Its true aram is more chance based, but thats also what gives it more of a challenge. There isn't really a meta for it unless you consider range a meta. However, I think it would be great if riot happened to do a test run, of any of the other modes and people liked doing ranked that.. I was just looking for a solution to all the whiners, stuck in bronze and blaming it on their team. If you gave them the solo chance to prove that they were either bad or good, with a ranked que more based on single player skill then I think it would grow to be popular.
