How to work as a community with Riot productively. Balancing issues, and skin stuff.

Introduction: I see very frequently that many people in the league community feel certain champions or abilities need a nerf, but I seldom see a very organized way to get their opinions collected and noticed. Both the Forums and PBE are great resources to help address balance concerns, yet I still notice various threads concerning the same issues about the same champions. These people could work together in a more communal official sense to get their opinions heard in a more impactful way. I also notice that there is not a collective way to vote on such things, which is exactly my solution.

The Solution: Create an organized, official way for the majority of the community to voice their opinion on a champion or ability.

I suggest a method that allows people to vote on a champion, choosing if they think he or she is overpowered, balanced, or underpowered. If one chooses OP or underpowered, they are then prompted to vote on the abilities of that champion, with the same three options. Concerning the abilities, a brief description to explain would be helpful (IE: stun too long, or too damage, or scales way too well or is too OP early, ect.)

Once people start voting, Riot can sift through the majority opinion easily by searching for the most OP or underpowered champions and abilities voted on by the players.

This method would also help separate the actual thoughts from people, versus a couple of person who just demolished by a fed champ. (Ok, who thought it was a good idea to go AD Xerath top and feed Yi?!?! If he gets that 3rd Penta I am so done!)

I believe this would help balance the game, and I would think Riot would be in favor of a more clear-cut system like this. For example, they recently balanced (fiddlesticks) fear. I am sure, based on my friends constant complaints about the fear before the nerf, that Riot listened to the community on this issue, as they probably do for most if not all. In general Riot does try to add balance chances to every patch, and this would only make it easier on them.

Also, on very rare occasion, I think a Re-work vote option should be available. Not a rework because one thinks they are OP, but because they honestly might need one. IE: Riot is working on Xerath currently. (Whom of which I currently adore, though am not so great with)

The Skins: I also notice both around the forums and on various regions of the internet, there are great skin ideas, but yet again I do not see a very clear organized way for these ideas to be displayed.

The Solution: Similar to before, another voting system.

This involves a list of champions (like before) and a drop down system where a list of skin ideas are shown. These can be organized by Most Recent, Most Popular, or Pinned (like the forums themselves).

One then chooses to Upvote, Downvote, or report as spam (people will eventually just start filling up lists with troll ideas, and I do not mean trundle )

Of course with posting comes putting in a name, brief description, and how much they view it should be offered sold as in RP. Also, posting an idea offers the option to input an image and/or a link for the skin, that goes into more detail on its own page. (A great fan idea is Angelic Riven, which is actually really cool. Finally, great minds think alike, so if two people have the same skin idea, they should be allowed to merge posts and combine upvotes to make it more known.

The goal here is to show Riot what the players think great skins are and if they would like them over others in game. For Riot, I am sure nothing would be more appealing than seeing who would buy a skin before it is even goes into any form of Riot production.

Conclusion: In my mind, I think these ideas would be very contributive to the synergy of the Community and Riot. I do not always articulate my thoughts very well, so if you have any questions where I am unclear, or points to make in general, please do not hesitate to comment.
