Hard work, no reward

Bronze elo is the butt of everyone's joke, and I get that, with all honesty. If you look at my profile in-game you'll find I'm in Bronze 5, with about 60LP, I find it harder and harder to not contemplate the worst possible thing… quitting league (you honestly thought that I was gonna off myself! Ha! Don't make me laugh). I work hard in lane; get my +100 CS before 20min, kill my enemy laner, push the tower, abuse my mechanical advantages, and be a supportive player (asking the right questions, for ganks, if any lanes need help, etc.). I try everything I can to carry my team and myself, it just seems that… all I do isn't good enough. Please help me. ~Stay classy summoners EDIT With the end of the season coming ever so closer i've got my goal set, while some of you claim that i deserve to stay on bronze elo, i chose to defy you and your arrogance, if an idiot like Brofresco or Trik2G can climb out of bronze then so can I; League is more than just a game, it is a part of my life that i want to be proud of, if that means staying in silver (cus the sweet boarder) then fine so be it.

Bronze is a trap, but just like any other elo it is a mental one. You may be having trouble figuring out what the problem is, but when I look through your match history I can immediately see a variety of areas where improvement can be made. Now I am not exactly high elo (gold V and rising), but I hope you listen to my advice because it should be able to help you out. Here are some of the areas you should work on.

  1. Less deaths: This doesn't mean just don't feed. This actively try to avoid dying. It does not matter how many kills you have or what you get out of it. Even when you are very fed, if you have more than 10 deaths you are doing something wrong. Remember that if you are fed you are worth a lot. For example you die and you have 20 of your teams 50 kills. For the next minute until you respawn your team only has an effective 30 kills worth of power. Take that into account when thinking about whether it would be worth it to die or not. This is more typically the thought later on in the game when grouping begins to happen, but deaths are never good. Ideally you would have no more than 5 per game, but start at less than 10.

  2. Item builds: This is the easiest to fix. A lot of your builds simply are not that great. I recommend lolpro as that shows what the professional players are building. Youtube is also a good place to learn about champions and builds. Just remember that not every game is the same and that you need do alter your build based on the enemy team (Ex. don't build thornmail against a team with 4 ap champs and an underfed adc)

  3. CS: you have a nice start, but could still improve. I typically like to get around 70 - 80 by 10 mins and 160 - 200 by 20 if I can. Though keep in mind that I am just one of those people who always ends up with the most farm no matter what role I play (not including support) so I may have a bit higher standards than most people.

  4. Wards: Generally you get a good amount placed when you have a trinket, but you should also make sure you buy some. At least a few pinks now and then. Again, you do appear to be using your trinket which is good, but on jungle you don't seem to be buying any.

  5. Focus on your best champs: I recommend trying to play a small group of champs that you do well with as often as you can. You seem to play a lot of ahri and amumu so as those are both strong champs I recommend practicing them and really getting good with them. I personally use hecarim. I play him pretty much every chance I get with him, so now I really know what to do and when.

Now one thing to do if you want to improve is focus on specific mistakes. I believe I heard somewhere that to analyze the need to correct a problem you basically multiple how often it occurs by the severity of the problem, and then you can focus on whichever problem is the worst. I hope some of what I put can be of use to you and Good Luck in you future games. I know I did my time in bronze and it was a pain to get out of.

your mmr is the lowest I've ever seen really, even on streams that show bronze v games. looking at your yasuo game, you died a bit too often. the other team had a malphite with a bit of a troll build.

also, having 125 cs by 20 minutes is a bit low. you want at least 150 in most games by 20. you are running no mr runes (and you were vs lux top) besides one quint. dying that many times, you should have mr glyphs. the mastery point "enchanted armor" in the defence tree isn't helping you unless you plan on building defence early on or a lot later on, since it only helps the armor/mr you get, not your base armor/mr.

I would say you still have a lot to improve on and that's not even watching you play. I'm pointing this out because I would like to point out that if you were a higher rank, you would find the games harder, not easier. you should focus on improving.

if you want some help, you can send me an invite.

To start off, 100+ CS in 20 minutes is supposed to be the normality and in fact, if you are not playing support or jungler, 150 CS at 20 minutes should be considered bad.

Let's look closer at your games, you picked yasuo against a Kat, but you took a mere 6.7 Magic resist in runes and none in Masteries. You bought no Magic resist Items and you wonder why you lost to a kat?

Over all, you look like your "mechanical Advantage" really isn't there. Your KDA is showing that you die way too often.

Play safer, make better decisions, then you will probably climb a bit.

I really don't understand all these bronze 5 players complaining and saying they want out. you have it good! id pay to be in bronze 5. crush every matchup every game. what exactly do you think will be different when you are out? once you clear that hurdle it suddenly becomes easy because your teammates are a little better?

no. it is the same.

if you get out of 'the trap' and into silver you are going to find there are still bad players, there are still trolls, and now you cant have monster games because your enemies are better. if I were you id stay in b5 as long as possible. honestly id love to be in bronze 5 forever.
