It is a game
TL:DR (skip to paragraph two)
I normally don't do this but this past game I will make an exception.
I just had a game where everyone on my team played poorly and me being the jungler, I got blamed for it. The top lane and mid lane very early on started piling onto me for not ganking and blaming me for every death they had. At some point in this I just decided to agree with what they were saying cause what else can you do when your entire team turns on you (the other two started chipping in) and it has been a long weekend for me? Don't get me wrong, I am nowhere near a great jungler, I main top lane tanks but at the same time I'm not terrible either. They even went as far as to say they would not report me for agreeing I suck (honestly, I did not care nor wanted their "kindness"). I think my favorite comment was when my top laner decided to tell me to not feed their opponent, at this point in the game he was 1/6/0 and I was 1/5/1 and every single one of my deaths were to other players. We ended the game at 20 and the sour taste in my mouth has most definitely persisted.
The point of this story, aside from being a vent, is this is a game. It is an incredibly fun game as well. Even if you are losing a game it's not the end of the world. Life will continue to go on. We all play this game to have fun. To get away from our daily lives for a little bit. To kick back and relax. Too many times it is very easy to not see people through the screen. Too many times it becomes very easy to say whatever without the worry of any real sort of consequence. Treat people the way you'd wish to be treated. Cliched? Yes. But something a lot of leaguers tend to forget it seems.
So with this out of my system have a good morning, day, and night. I'm going to go play some basketball and have a great time with that.
