@TheCurator What does it take to be a mod and what company are the mods with?

Hey TheCurator,

I've been curious how to become a moderator ever since we had a major crash with league and everybody started taking it out on the mods. I also wanted to know where the mods come from so I could understand exactly why they couldn't answer questions about the crash. Thanks so much for reading this and I hope you have a wonderful day.

What major crash with league? the hacktivists or what not?

Usually they are appointed by Riot for providing the best positive feedback to other players and being helpful. If you are toxic on the boards, like I am, you probably won't get it.
