Why does Riot have to suck at storing information?

As a programmer myself I think being capable of storing all of your match histories correctly would be priority along with gameplay. However seeing that over 4 of my last games are missing this is an epic failure as I am left with no record of my 12 win streak. Anyone else burdened by the crumby history and service availability?
