Why Does The Patch Numbering Go Backwards?

Patch

Basically the patch numbering goes:

4.20, 4.21 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 5.7, 5.8, 5.9

5.1 [What? We just had 5.1], 5.11, 5.12, 5.13, 5.14, 5.15, 5.16, 5.17, 5.18, 5.19 5.2 [Oh my, here we go again!], 5.21, 5.22, 5.23, (5.24?)

What's the deal here..?!! :o

These aren't decimal numbers. 5.1 (five point one) is not the same as 5.10 (five point ten)

The first number is seasonal/expansion, the second numbers (after decimal) is major patch

This allows your patch numbers to be 5.XX for all of season 5. You don't get to remove the zero at the end, if it's 5.10 it's said "Five-Ten" or maybe "five point ten".

How at ALL is that backwards? It's clearly going UP.

The ordering is still wrong even based on what you are saying.

After 5.1 you would have to release 5.10 through 5.19 in order to maintain chronological order. So your explanation still doesn't answer the question for why they are out of order / backwards.

Granted I do understand your point (10, 11, 12, etc.) but in computer based order it would be wrong. lol

Do you know how to count breh. 2 comes after 3 and 5 comes before 1 and 2 is first and 6 is always last. Know your math.

2, 5, 1. 3, 2, 6
