what is this community

I have been playing with some friends tonight.

In every single game, there has been trolls either on my team, or the enemies. I have seen an atzir bot (as in running a script). I have seen people random lock at the end of the timer when everyone else has already discussed their champs and locked in. I have seen two players lock in yasuo/zed and then never join game when they didn't get their lane of choice.

I have not yet, in 6 hours straight, had a single game where all 10 people were just interested in playing to the best of their abilities.

Now I don't play this game much anymore so maybe I am out of the loop, but when and how did it get like this?

It seems to me like the only time to play this game is if you can get 4 other people to make a premade with you. The community is, for lack of a better term, mad.
