In the terms of use, it says that no one under the age of 13 can play lol, but I know so many players are younger. Even some pro players, like MikeYeung, start at a young age too. In MikeYeung's case: 11. So, I was wondering if anyone knows if Riot even cares about this, or even looks at the birthday that was entered when the account was created. Thank You 8)
They do care, but ultimately they have no way to enforce it. Games ratings have always been kinda like that; there just isn't a way to keep age groups out of things on the internet. Even irl, it's difficult unless you're talking about keeping them out of a physical location. It's easy to keep minors out of R-rated films at theaters, for instance, but that doesn't stop them from seeing the movies, anyway.
honestly how would they know. Its more a legal check the block these days than anything important.
Isn't that more a concern for the parents?
Players below 13 are not recommended but they are legal.
