My opinion on try harding
I got up this morning and turned on my laptop, loaded up league, opened up youtube, and started watching the new videos from the people I'm subscribed to. This brought me to sky's new video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yHzpkUFsefo
It's a good video. I laughed a bit but then I made the mistake of going down to the comments and seeing something that just ticked me off. A comment, the top comment actually. It was another league of legends youtuber that I absolutely love. Here is the comment.

P.S Try Fiora, you'll be one step ahead."
That comment right there just set me off. One of my favorite league of legends.. No one of my top favorite youtubers in general is spouting nonsense about try hards. For the longest time I've been ignoring all the spam about try hards on the boards and even with the increasing number of people complaining about try hards in my normals. I've been able to ignore all of that for the most part but now I'm going to address it.
This may be an unpopular opinion but it's my opinion and I hope you can respect that.
What exactly is so wrong with trying hard? I've seen a very common excuse in my normals that "We just want to have fun and you're being a try hard" I've seen that almost exact quote word for word at least 7 times.
I'd like to think most of you start up league of legends every day wanting to win. Why? Because winning is the objective of the game and can also surprisingly be pretty fun. Why is it so bad that someone want to win and try hard to win?
I see so many people complaining about Zed in URF and crying when he isn't banned. What's stopping you from playing Zed if he isn't banned? Or is it you just don't want to play Zed?
So you don't want to play Zed when he isn't banned but you also don't want your enemies to play him because you aren't playing him. That sounds pretty selfish to me.
To sum it all up. I honestly don't get all this fuss about try harding. I've lost to plenty of Galios, Zeds, and Evelynns but guess what. I've also won a lot of games too and at the end of the day. I still had fun. So what's stopping you from having fun?
