We need a BETTER AFK system
RITO for gods sake.... I lost yet another game ranked because of an dc/afk from the start!!! DO something bout losing less LP with an afker!!
RITO we need a way better solution on the ranked AFK system... Its not fair any player loses LP on ranked when they have AFK teammembers... Some will say well you need to carry or just play defensive... But how do you wanna do that if its 4vs5-3vs5(from the start)...
Some will also say that its not possible to implent something like that...
Isnt there a way to make a program record the amount time/how many games you were afk? If so that when you go/are AFK 2 times on ranked you'll get a warning saying something like "To many afk in ranked matches, next time you will be demoted 1 division"! If this occurs more times after demotion the punishment will be harder! For players that have AFK teammates how about depending on how long this player has been AFK, make them lose less LP (max: 45%LP)
For teammates: AFK from start till 15min mark + Surrender at 20min = 30% less LP loss AFK from start till 20min mark+ Surrender at 20min = 45% Less LP loss
For AFker: (Solo queu) AFK from start till 15min mark + Surrender at 20min(solo player) = 50% more LP Loss AFK from start till 20min mark + Surrender at 20min(solo player) = 75% more LP Loss
(Duo queu:) AFK from start till 15min mark (+ Surrender at 20min) (duo queu) = 50% more LP Loss AFK from start till 20min mark (+ Surrender at 20min) (duo queu) = 75% more LP Loss
**so the duo queue cant stop the punishment with pressing "no" at surrender
Also people will comment: yea but than other teammates will force another player to AFK so they wont lose much LP... They only lose less LP when the afker was afk from the start or afk for longer than 15min! But will the AFKer start to go afk while the game is already in progress the punishment will be higher so the risk people will do that for their mates or team will be very low because of the higher punishment.
For AFker: AFK for aprox 10min (+ surrender) = 50% more LP Loss AFK for aprox 15min (+ surrender) = 75% more LP loss AFK for aprox 20min and higher (+ surrender) = 100% more LP loss
For teammates: AFK for aprox 15min (+ surrender) = 20% less LP loss AFK for aprox 20min and higher (+ surrender) = 30% less LP loss
What do you guys/girls think about it or what would you change?
