Question about ranked teams (Riot if you see this pls answer)

So i was wondering if individual MMR is a factor to team placement. So if for example a team consisted of bronze through gold players and a team consisted of platinum through diamond players will be matched against eachother in placements at all, and if both got the same score, will they both be placed in the same league and have the same lp gains/losses...

Pls only answer if you do know the answer and not based on what you think happens, thanks.
