Are Rioters aware that the reason why so many people hate them is because they lie for no reason?

Yeah, obviously Riot isn't a collective that all believe in a singular goal but when you have someone specking on the company's behalf and says something idiotic, it really just makes everyone hate you.

Like this whole Sandbox thing. A Rioter said that they don't want new players to feel like they have to go into this mode to learn and they don't want o promote a grindy environment.

Just tell us the truth because we all know that's a lie because, people have to win eight matches of a gamemode to get an icon, we have to play hundreds of games to build rune pages, we must play dozens to rise in ranked and champion mastery was made to grind. It's an obvious and unneeded lie.

Early last night (technically this morning) I asked Meddler about Yorick's current state an he said that Riot doesn't feel like he's healthy for the game and don't want to buff him because he's terrible for the game. He'd rather leave him to be low picked and never seen then to become a menace. WOW, thanks for the honesty. Really, OMG, why couldn't this of been said about every other problem that game has.

Riot just isn't doing anything about it so we're not doing anything for awhile. Impinge if Riot just said that they didn't really care for a Sandbox mode because it would be hard on the servers with so many people starting one man lobbies. An issue I'm sure PBE players have ran into.

Riot would have a much larger approval rate.

Riot as a company is not loved by the fans but only a few Rioter ( you know who you are) are beloved by fans because of what they do. The worse part is, it doesn't seem like Riot wants fan approval. You know what would be nice....if someone at Riot just said, we're not hear for fan approval we're here to do our job.

BAM, mad respect right there. No need to screw with people, just lay out the truth and get it done. Saying things that are clearly lies ins't going to be stopping all the hate.

me and my friends work on a system where we give each other skins and gifts/just generally buy Riot points everytime we feel Riot does something cool. We count that against everytime they screw something up, speeches, updates, whatever come sup. Long story short we're in the rut.

Everytime we have a, Riot isn't all that bad moment something else pushes us back over.

Example, lore actually being made, then this lie about grinding.
