Should I initiate?

Ever had one of those times where if you push so hard in early, that you get to enemy turret yet you don't have the power to hit it? So you'd rather then come to you under your turret so you might be able to get a kill from it?

I'm going to say, bull.

If you can push them to turret and eventually knock it down, they have no safety and you (and a possible buddy) will have the advantage. That means:

  • Yes, push those minions. If you have a melee support like Braum, Taric, or Blitz; we're not going to weaken those minions, nor do you want us. If you are going to last hit a minion, then please, out of decency, weaken it. The other team will have already been doing this. You're not a pro, and even pros will weaken minions before last hitting them.
  • If the ward we placed runs out, then you don't need to push hard anymore. You can't tell if a gank will happen or not.

This applies to all laning champions. It's different for junglers.

  • If you are about to gank, and are waiting in the bush; initiate. Don't wait for a perfect moment, corner that enemy. It's a two on one or three vs two. Don't let the enemy jungler out play you by coming in with multiple ganks, getting kills every now and then, making them unstoppable. The jungle doesn't even give much CS and Exp like it use to so please don't just sit in the bush and think of a perfect time to strike or just leave if you don't get one.

Lastly, I hate when I hear:

There's not enough wards in the jungle.

The support can only ward up to 4 times (3 small 30 second wards and one larger ward). If everyone were to ward 4 times each, you'd have 20 wards all up and down the jungle. Upgrade the ward.

Even if you have all 9 turrets functioning in all lanes, you should not stop and go to dragon when you ACE the other team and have 6/9 of their turrets; get the inhibitor turrets. Then, if you can, the inhibitor. It's so easy when its right there. You then have mega minions that the enemy must deal with. You can then do whatever, easier.

When someone asks:

Group mid

You should try to group mid. Even if there is a large farm bot or top, or if the red or blue is open; go mid. Getting red or blue while your team is fighting could cost them the game.
