Current state of Jayce

I am looking for a new top laner...so guys, do you think it is worth to buy Jayce now? I know that he got only 44% win rate, but I am up for spending a lot of time to learn him. Also, my current top lane champion pool is full of tanks and I am looking for something different. I would really like to see some opinions of Jayce's players, maybe let me check your match history with Jayce, give me some build ideas (not tips and tricks, I already watched some videos about that and Jayce seems a really cool champion, it's like having two champions in one xD), maybe say how much it took for you to master him...and so on.
