"Face punch" button, IP give away, an extra dimension to game play, and more live opportunities

Sometimes you can't report someone, but you wish you could. The festering negativity toward a summoner needs a release. Enter the "I don't like this guy button." Perhaps there could be a mini game where you punch their summoner icon until you feel better. It would be even more rewarding if they got a notification like, "you've been punched 780 times." Maybe the game could involve throwing Nidalee spears at the champion they played. Perhaps if they have been punched enough or received enough spears they have to play their next game as Teemo. This would be a great way for people to spend ip/rp.

On the other end of the spectrum, sometimes you wished you could say, "hey I like you." I believe I read someone suggest gifting ip before. It would be nice to be able to make it more meaningful and give away small amounts of ip and or rp at the end of games.

Honor and reporting come with specific justifications. These would not.

I love how no two games are exactly alike. The board and the pieces remain the same. I like this complexity arising from a few seemingly simple aspects. I don't want to change the game, but I would like to see another dimension or layer added to it. It would be neat if individual games somehow worked into a larger picture. Just as an example lets say you play tic tac toe and league games decide whether or not you get to place your x in a spot or they get an o. I feel tournaments provide this extra dimension but most players wont play in any tournament. I also think it would be neat if you could some how play for teams or declare yourself for a team. Dignitas fans could be paired with other Dignitas fans to oppose TSM fans. I realize that there are already sub wars. I feel that there are a lot of interesting ways to add layers without changing the game. I would like to see/hear some.

My final idea relates to being able to see tournaments and events live. Even if you are willing and able to make a big trip and rent a hotel you still have to get a ticket before they sell out. This happens too fast. I would like riot to somehow rearrange tournaments to permit more opportunities to see our favorite teams compete live. Unfortunately my idea is a realization of a problem, not a solution. Thanks for reading and any thoughts.

I cannot comment on the tournament part of your post, but I can give my 2 cents regarding the "like" button.

I can sense the potential trolling in just poking players with spears for the lulz, or artificially boosting their likes/dislikes. This is a good idea in theory but is somewhat hard to put in practice.

In my opinion, the Tribunal system needs some more power. By that I mean access to pre-game and post-game chat, as you usually see most of the un-reportable offenses there.

i feel that you have made a very good point although i also think that making someone play teemo is just cruel and unjust. you should not be able to control free will but i do understand how you feel.

I kind of had a good laugh at this

I do share your concern mainly because I constantly get trolls in Ranked (Unfortunately I'm stuck in EloHell - Yes I do think it does exist)
Nevertheless, I do think the tribunal system needs more power and probably more stricter. Specially in Ranked since it is a competitive system in which everyone should be serious about. I usually get bummed out when I can't carry out a game when we have a troll, AFKs, or someone who feeds then rage quits (Staying there and confronting the responsibility that you fed is more sport-like then just leaving - & no I don't blame people when they feed, it happens)
& I'm also sure there are a lot of more players that think the tribunal should at least be more stricter in Ranked games.

They are making a few mini-games because of popular request and riot does want feedback from us to see if they can come up with different ideas.

But I specifically liked when you mention

"I would like to see another dimension or layer added to it."

You guys might think it's weird but I somehow pictured LoL into a MMORPG (Yes I do like MMORPG and MOBA games too) where it could use the champions and create a story for the champion by following the lore of each champion. I know this way out there. It would also mean that riot would have to expand their company and add a whole new team to their company and developed the game. I would love to see something like this but I'm reaching way high into the skies with this concept.

I also like to watch tournaments and such because I actually learn a lot from their competitive game play. I think Twitch Tv covers a lot of those tournament plays.
