Does Dynamic que have more under the surface?

Hi LoL players,

I've been a vivid LoL player about 2 years ago, after which i stepped over to another Moba. I still play LoL, but a lot less then before.

This is more of a theory that hit me, a mere possibility.

In the old days there were some champions that broke balance. I could detect them at the time and was wondering why Riot didn't detect them. But then i stumbled upon this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e31OSVZF77w&index=100&list=PLB9B0CA00461BB187

It explained great what Riot was doing, tho they were a lot more edgy at start ( larger imbalances) and became smoother over time.

Now i cannot wonder if DQ doesn't have a similar goal. The huge amount of heroes and the massive E-sport development is making it harder to make noticeable but not game breaking unbalances. As a result the game has began to become a bit stale. Did they forsee a downfall if they didn't change something. Is DQ their anwser?

In that way DQ might be:

Just a temporary drama feature, to shake things up, make things interesting and remind people to respect solo quee.

It might be a different path, which (as it is new) has a lot of downfalls and mistakes. An essential change to battle staleness.

My opinion is that pre role selection is a great thing, awesomely designed. But putting 3/4/5 man teams with and vs solos is terrible.

Just like before, I'm asking myself "how can they not see the detrimental effects DQ has", so what if there is something more underneath the surface, just like before.

Just for fun, I'll add a poll
