Western Players are Subsidizing the East.
Take note. Look at the direction of newer skins and champions. Look at the pro-scene. Our boys all pack up eventually for a 9 to 5. A 1350RP (about $10) costs around $2.50 in China. The country boys (the peasants) aren't playing PC games. The Western market share is a fraction of that in the east. The "global" competitions are a sham because of cultural differences. I can't imagine TSM and the whole lot practice 16 hours a day under military like regulation. Yet we pay for these "grand" competitions that we don't watch, nor have a shot of winning. It's absurd. The entire development of LOL past and present is based on the "pro" scene and yet it's of passing interest AT BEST to 99% of us. What's your game Riot?
