You are one game away from being promoted, you have a solid team, you just got a kill for your adc... and then, "A PLAYER HAS DISCONNECTED." Your Lux mid disappears, annnnd never comes back. Now you and your other three teammates have to try win your promotional game 4v5, which, contrary to all the "smurf" diamond players that brag about beating a challenger game 3v5, is actually 98% impossible.

So what do you do? You lose. Just like your last promotional game, which ALSO had a DC. Your hard earned eligibility to raise yourself from the swill of silver 3 should not be completely, unjustly and insultingly denied, because one player's mom told him that it was bedtime. Promotional games should NOT count as a loss when you have a DC.
