Dear Riot on Team Builder, Blind Pick and Dynamic Draft
I am not sure if this ever really occurred to anyone in the department but for what i can see the problem with this change between the dynamic draft and the beloved team builder is the focus. While Dynamic Draft Que is clearly an evolution of the Draft Que it is not a Evolution of Team Builder. To be honest the Team Builder Que was the Evolution of Blind Pick, it solved most the problems and frustrations that comes with Blind Pick. Because Team Builder and Blind Pick was both active Ques during the time obviously it would take longer to make matches since if you didn't care about setting up or waiting the Blind Pick was the quickest option to start a match. While I Understand what changes you are trying to implement I feel you missed the point, you are wanting with this new Que to bring the average player to a system you hope to make a Solo Que team rival a pre-made team but unfortunately this new draft mode fails at it. Team Builder was the closest you could have gotten to solving everything but it wasn't the solution to draft I'll give you that one, but not seeing that instead it fixed the main issues with blind matches is disappointing. I have been playing since season 1 and while I sat back watching all the changes of things that have come and gone, seeing the game grow and evolve every new season this is where I feel I should really say this change and misunderstanding of your own game has set many players that learned to call Team Builder their "Home Que" ablaze... We Loved Team Builder because it gave us the freedom to play on our own term with like minded players and was well worth the wait when we did get the perfect team. Personally I would much rather see it replace the Blind Pick, if it did replace Blind Pick the players that use Blinds would be going into Team Builder or Draft Picks and less waiting times overall. But hey I'm just a long time player who came in just after caitlyn's champion release and stayed ever since, I don't know who this will reach but I just needed to say something about the issues at hand.
