"I love it when a plan comes together" - Hannibal, The A-Team
Yes, it really feels great when random players in a Solo Q find that 'groove' and fall in sync. I've had it happen now and then, and almost always it rises from being respectful and helpful from the start. My favorite example was a few Seasons back, I was playing Singed and we were losing. Not a total landslide but it was getting worse every teamfight. They tried to surrender, "Never surrender! Fight to the end!" and I rallied the team. I started calling shots, "I'll fling the ADC and slow the team, you do the rest" and pretty soon we were turning the tables. They kept trying to surrender for a while but I dragged them through the mud until they came around and pretty soon we were chasing them through their base and turned it for the win. It was a lot of fun.
Another story: I pretty much always fill, because I can play every role with at least a decent rate of success (my fair share of "omg feeder" and "omg plz carry us" in each lane) and I play blind normals (find the toxicity level in Ranked a little high for my taste)
One game I did my usual: "Fillarino"
Then another player: "Fill. Kouga what you want."
"I said I'd fill, you can have what you want :)"
Pretty soon all five players were all, "Fill" "Fill or feed!" "Hey I'll get in on that Fill thing"
So we all went Random at the same time and tried to make a team out of it.
I'm pretty sure we lost but shit it was fun!
