Do sites like Skill-capped work?

I have read several forums where people ask wether or not sites like skill-capped can actually improve your game play. The reply's to the question seem to be varied, some yes, some no and some say just watch youtube videos to get the same result.

Well now to get to the point. As a certified Bronze level player (Bronze one 2 seasons in a row), I intend to find out for myself. I have shelled out three months worth of subscription fee's and started watching the videos.
