New Hud Skins Not Working?!?! :/

Can Anybody halp me with getting a hud skin for the new hud? i have the Hud skin downloaded and in the right folder as a .dds file, but it doesnt seem to want to work... plz halp... and plz dont say, dont have one. Thank You!!
